Re: BDGA Tour 2015
some nice shiny new venues on the tour in 2015.
Loch Tay is a Seamus Scanlon production and Myerscough is Chros O'Brien/Jamie Martin. Im sure they will all pipe up to explain a bit more about whats in store.

Re: BDGA Tour 2015
Mount Edgecombe is Plymouth, they have been working hard with Mat Cutler and Steve Cox to get themselves established.
They have a 13 hole pay to play course at present, but are expanding and will have a championship 18 planned/installed ready for autumn next year.
they have branded themselves as "flyers disc golf"

Can anyone tell me about the courses in Preston and Loch Tay?
I didn't know they existed, are they full 18 hole courses?

Re: BDGA Tour 2015
Nice range of venues. Really good to see the pace of change on several fronts recently. Potentially
Dunbar
Mull
Loch Tay
Myerscough
Burnalw
for me next year. I reckon I can swing that.

Cheers Rich for posting the link.
I'll put together the Loch Tay info once I hear back from them about specifics, should be just a few days.
New Tee boxes going in at our course in Dunbar, They should be done by the new year.. I'll get a webpage up toot sweet, We'll be sure to put a nice shine on the course for the event.

You got it, Scuttler
Wigwams, Domes, Ultra Wigwams, huge communal cooking area, restaurant, bar, lots of bells and whistles and a nice disc golf course too on the sloping hillside of Loch Tay.

Re: BDGA Tour 2015
Bedworth is only a 1 day event correct? Just thought I'd double check it wasn't a typo before I go and plan something else for the Saturday!
Re: BDGA Tour 2015
I'm 99% sure Bedworth will be 2 days and that's a typo

Re: BDGA Tour 2015
Only one QP event next year? Or is it more another will appear if some drop out?
Re: BDGA Tour 2015
yes only one QP, this is the first year that all venues will only host one event per year - unless circumstance necessitate
this will be the plan for future years as well.
this will be the plan for future years as well.
Re: BDGA Tour 2015
It's a shame as I think the two different styles/times of year of the previous QP events makes it almost different courses being played but on the positive side I think it's a great move forward and it makes me happy that we have more courses/players in the country to allow for a full tour while only visiting each location once
I think it will open up a lot more one day event opportunities as well which is also great!
